Hi, I’m Cristina, lawyer and co-founder of Borderwise Wealth.

For over a decade, I worked as a lawyer in the world of financial crime and international tax defending clients in high-stakes investigations and helping businesses stay compliant across borders. Whether it was navigating tax evasion cases or advising on tricky tax regulations, I saw firsthand how overwhelming things can get when people try to "DIY" their way through complex rules, and what a difference the right guidance can make.

Eventually, I realized I didn’t want to spend my career buried in corporate casework. I wanted to work with people like you—driven entrepreneurs building global businesses and seeking more freedom, clarity, and peace of mind.

These days, I combine legal know-how with a human approach to help founders protect what they’re building and grow without second-guessing their next move.

I’m Adriana, an international tax lawyer and cross-border consultant with over 15 years of experience helping clients navigate the legal and financial complexity of global business.

Before starting Borderwise, I spent years working with international firms, helping clients navigate tax audits, restructurings, and business setups in different countries. A big part of my work was translating dense regulations into smart, actionable strategies that work across jurisdictions.

Now, I get to use that experience in a much more personal way, helping business owners like you build global structures that feel aligned, secure, and sustainable. My favorite part of what we do? Seeing the relief on a client’s face when the fog lifts and they finally feel clear on what steps to take.
